Ghana Cooking Kitchen Calculations Signed Original Painting, "Kenkey Seller"

The calculations and diagrams in the background represent the fact that everything she does is perfectly planned before hand," says Dio of his painting. Kenkey is a staple food of the Ga people, and it is is prepared with corn dough rolled in a ball and wrapped in a corn husk; it is placed in a pot of water and boiled until cooked.
