Geometric African Wood and Aluminum Mask from Ghana, "Geometric Personage"
Geometric in its shape, this abstract African mask is the work of Ghanaian artisan Habib Mustapha. He hand-carves the image from sese wood, which is painted in hues of black, red, yellow, and green. A diamond of embossed aluminum decorates the forehead.
