Garnet Handmade Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace Mexico, "Scorpio Bird"
"Scorpio symbolizes transmutation, taking everything that is within to the surface, and also transforming darkness into light. That is why I designed a pendant in the form of a serpent that is becoming a bird," explains Mexico's Mariana Llanes about the design of this necklace. From her unique Zodiac Collection, the pendant is crafted by hand with sterling silver featuring the impassioned glow of garnet and an enamel prepared with malachite."

"So beautiful and meticulously crafted - thank you!"
The photo does not do justice to this beautiful necklace. The design is gorgeous, and it is exquisitely and skillfully executed. I love the shape of the stylized snake, and the gemstones are the perfect touch. The chain is also a perfect complement to the pendant. Because of the unusual shape of the pendant, I had thought it might need a lot of fussing to get it to hang right when I'm wearing it, but I was delighted to discover that it hangs *perfectly* every single time. Not only is Ms. Llanes an incredibly gifted designer and artist (and how!), but she also has expert understanding of the physics of how metals hang and lay when worn. I am 100% delighted with this purchase. I get compliments every time I wear this beauty. It has quickly become my favorite necklace. And I refer everyone who will listen to Novica and specifically to Ms. Llanes. What an incredible talent! I could not be more pleased with my purchase. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Ms. Llanes! I will be back!

"SO happy to finally own this phenomenal necklace!"
This was the first item I put on my personal wishlist when I discovered Novica in 2018. In 2020 I decided to purchase it for myself as a birthday gift and could not possibly be happier with it! I absolutely adore the character story provided about the symbolism of the necklace. As another reviewer has mentioned, Mariana Llanes is a truly talented artisan!
