Crafted by hand of Mexican copal wood, five loving hearts are hand-painted with intricate, colorful designs. Working in the time-honored tradition of Oaxaca's alebrije sculptures, Claudio Ojeda creates this set of petite ornaments, perfect for home decor or for hanging on the tree.

"Gift for Girlfriends"
My girlfriends and I were planning a vacation to Cancun and I wanted to give them a little gift to commemorate the occasion. When I saw these adorable hearts, I knew I had found the right gift. Each one is a beautiful work of art with incredible color and detail. The girls loved them and I kept one for myself as well! Many thanks to the fabulous artist!

"These are my Happy Hearts"
I got these because they were useful all year round--on the Christmas Tree, for Valentines Day, for Easter, or whatever. In between times, I just hang them in various locations around the house and it makes me happy to see them sitting on the corner of the windowsill, hanging from a decorative cabinet handle, resting in a bin of colored straw like an Easter Egg, or whatever. They are colorful, beautiful, and a pleasure to have around the house. I thought I might put one on each gift for Christmas but I got greedy and kept them all for myself. :)

"Grogeous ornaments! Expertly painted details"
Thank you Claudio for these amazing ornaments. I kept two and gave the rest away as gifts to friends who helped with the Fiesta Familiar at a local church. I have purchased many of the Claudios ornaments to share with friends. Always a joy when my Novica box arrives!

"Filled me with joy!"
Opening this little package from Mexico and seeing and holding these beautifully exquisite hearts in the midst of this covid-19 crisis gave me such joy and filled my heart with hope and appreciation that such loveliness exists in the world. In case you cant tell, I love these hearts!!

"This is now a beautiful Xmas ornament!"
I never intended to use this beautiful piece as a key fob - it is much too precious to be subjected to the wear and tear of being used for keys. The finely detailed and intricate hand painting is of the highest quality. The vibrant colors and the wide eyes make this a stand out piece!
