Immaculate detailed silver workmanship. The carnelian is deep red, smooth as silk. Did I mention that The locket can be worn on the reverse side. Its that much flawless and beautiful. Rupadana has steadily grown his workshop and now has assistants to help him.
Preserving Traditions
Rupadana incorporates traditional Balinese motifs and contemporary styling to create beautiful jewelry with traditional silversmithing techniques. He learned the art of silverwork as a child and started his own his own workshop with only 25 grams of silver. He has struggled through hard economic times but has steadily grown his jewelry project. He is proud to provide work for several assistants.
Caring for Children
As the seventh of nine children, Rupadana worked at an early age to help provide for his basic needs. Today he is proud to be able to care for his three children and provide them with a better life.
Profound Impact
Rupadana receives nearly half his income from Novica sales. They are instrumental to survival of his family and workshop.
