For the indigenous people in pre-Hispanic times, jade, known as ya'ax chich, represented life, fertility, and power. Guatemalan artisan Zandra Lorena Sajbin works with this ancestral stone, which showcases natural hues of black. She hand-carves the pendant of this necklace to feature a ring with faceted edges that gleam in the light. This necklace circles the neck with an adjustable strand of black cotton cord.

This is a nice Guatemalan black jade ring. It fits my finger perfectly and is a very nice ring. It reminds me of onyx.

Customer service was excellent but despite replacing the chain, the clasp is still difficult to secure. After many tries, I gave up. Ill need to buy a chain despite the replacement.
