This regal pair of handcrafted masks is the original design of Ghana's Abdul Aziz Mohamadu. The artisan carves the masks from sese wood and adorns both with plates of embossed brass, featuring patterns reminiscent of tribal scarification. The artisan names the masks ohene, which means "chief" in the Twi dialect of Ghana.
