Crafted by hand, this luxurious jewelry box displays the natural hues of ebony wood. Ghanaian artisan Ali Mohammed designs the box, decorated with the hand-carved image of Sankofa, the Adinkra symbol that signifies the importance of learning from the past. The box opens to a single-compartment interior lined in printed cotton after the style of kente cloth.
