Dan Tribe Rustic African Sese Wood Mask from Ghana, "Dan Beak"
Depicting a bird with a majestic red beak, this African mask is created after the style of Dan tribe festival masks. Ghana's Rapheal L. Commey designs this mask, which is hand-carved from sese wood and given a clay rub for a rustic finish. Accents of embossed brass accentuate the high brow and striking beak.

"Love this mask!"
This wooden mask looks better than in the catalog. The colors are vibrant and the detailing is one of a kind. It adds a rich look to the area where its hanging.

"This now hangs in my bedroom!"
After going on a Safari in Tanzania I came back painted my bedroom and redecorated in an African theme. this beautiful wooden piece adds a great deal to the overall motif . It is a very good quality. The colors have inspired me to make another bed quilt using indigo blue as my focus. I am very glad I found this site.
