Mirian Zet, a Guatemalan artist, devotes her time to making beaded jewelry in order to express herself and provide work for others around her. She is on a mission to eradicate poverty in her lakeside town and provide opportunities for local women.

Growing up on the beaches of the magnificent Lake Atitlan, Mirian was inspired by the fauna and woodland that cover the Guatemalan highlands. Mirian, who is inspired by the magnificent macaws that soar over her home, creates these stunning waterfall earrings by stringing blue glass beads that cascade softly from sterling silver hooks.
