Fringe with glass beads adorns the ends of this beautiful cotton shawl. Seetu Sewani presents the wrap in an effort to empower more specialized artisans in her country, adding lotus flower motifs in red, orchid pink and light olive. She works in India's age-old technique of block printing, where the designs are applied by hand with stamps carved from wood.
