Details

Woven by hand, table linens from Guatemala showcase the natural tones of cotton. Cutwork forms a lacy mesh to center these placemats by Luisa Villavicencio, and diamonds adorn the borders. Matching brown napkins complete the set for four.

The Villavicencio Family cultivates cotton in several natural colors – jade, brown and ivory, or raw cotton. In fact, people are surprised to learn that no dyes are used. The family is involved in the entire process, from growing the cotton to weaving it and transforming it into table linens.
