Cotton kente cloth scarf, "Vital Arrow"
Myriad arrowheads align within the hypnotic composition of this kente cloth scarf. According to kente lore, purple is associated with earth, with healing, and with the feminine aspects of life. Green and yellow both represent vitality, spirituality and fertility. Deborah Osei Boakye proudly preserves this legendary Ashanti custom as she designs the cotton kente scarf. She names this piece Pia, meaning "arrow" in the Akan language.

This arrived this afternoon and it is gorgeous. Stunning would be the best word. This is perhaps the most beautiful piece I own. The colors are magnificent and the workmanship is that of a true artist. I will treasure this piece and will buy more in other colors. Thank you Deborah.
