Cotton and Silk Blend Floral Scarf in Red Brown and Yellow, "Passionate Blossom"
The ancient art of batik comes to life in this beautiful cotton and silk blend scarf from Siddique in India. The floral print in dark espresso brown, red, aqua, purple and yellow is created with a wax resist technique that allows the colors to be applied one at a time. Although time-consuming, the end result is magnificent. The scarf is accented with golden zari trim at the borders.

"Overall, very nice"
First the not-so-much: I am tall so I like longer scarves. I normally wont buy anything under 80 inches in a rectangle scarf/shawl. This is listed as 78 inches long and it is 76 inches. That is a little off-putting. The good: The colors and design are beautiful. Though a little short for me, it is staying! I wasnt sure about the brown so I called Novica. They said it was a dark brown. So that dark color is not black, which is what I would have liked. But when I got it, the brown is so dark it went very well with a sleeveless black dress and shoes the same yellow as in the scarf. I got so many compliments on it, I might get another one!

"Deep, beautiful colors!"
This batik wall hanging looks very beautiful hanging in my bedroom. I purchased it along with Benevolent Ganesha. At certain times of the day, the gold colored background just glows against the backdrop of my deep red walls. I really love this piece!

"Beautiful on My Screened Porch"
This is a high quality Batik wall hanging that looks great hung on my screened porch. I use a bamboo rod to hang it, and it works well. Very pleased.

"Beautiful!"
I love this scarf! So beautiful and finely made. The silk/cotton fabric drapes nicely and is surprisingly warm. Perfect rolled edges, nice fabric, and the batik is gorgeous. Thank you, Siddique!
