Details

Ghanaian artist Emmanuel Atiemoh Yeboah designs and creates this beautiful piece of artwork using a variety of media and methods. Yeboah creates the likeness of an African mask on calico cloth, a rustic, unrefined cotton fabric. Then, a blend of oil paint and batik patterns is applied to cardstock in a ceiba wood frame, achieving a multi-layered, dimensional and eye-catching piece of artwork that reflects the culture and vivid colors of West Africa. The artist named this painting "Think Twice," illustrating how one should think before taking action.

I cannot believe how much more beautiful these are in person than on the website! Mr. Yeboa has a wonderful gift that I am thankful that he has shared so that I may have such gorgeous pieces as Trades and Problem of the Day in my home.
