Delivery EstimateJesus and Roxana recreate this African elephant in colorful alebrije form. They hand-carve it from copal wood and decorate its body with joyful geometric patterns in a palette of turquoise, teal green, pastel pink, orange, and lavender purple. The Mexican artisans come from a Zapotec community in Oaxaca known for its alebrijes. Jesus takes care of the carving part while Roxana works her magic creating the colorful patterns that decorate their designs.

"A Beautiful Work Of Art"
My granddaughter is a Lover of elephants. The colors and workmanship are amazing! This is unique and a stand out piece! You dont have to be a lover of elephants to fall in love with this BEAUTY!Before buying a gift I always check Novica first! So much to see and the quality and prices cant be beat!!

"Yet ANOTHER Great Sculpture"
Now have a dozen in house or gifts sculpted by Jesus and Roxanne. Easily my favorite alebreje artists. Have all the coyotes and monkeys so a domestic dog is a great change!
