Colorful Handpainted Elephant Sculpture from India, "Splendid Elephant"
This dazzling elephant sculpture is the work of Ashish Mehta in India. The wood statuette is adorned in imperial garb that is meticulously painted by hand. Floral motifs and mandalas are rendered in sublime detail on the elephant's blanket, headdress and anklets. The ears, toes and trunk get special treatment in flamboyant pink.

"So Beautiful!"

"Magnificent!"
The couple from Rajasthan II is magnificent, royal, expressive. The carving and decoration are both exquisite. I absolutely love these characters! I have never had the opportunity to visit India but hope to experience it some day in future. In the meantime, I will enjoy the company of Rajasthani royalty in my home. Thank you to Novica for making owning these delights possible. I am impressed by the ease and speed of shipping to the UK and for the care in presentation.

"Cute but chonky"
I added this as a add-on in my cart so I didnt actually look at the size. They wont fit on my year-round Christmas tree because they are quite large and I have an indoor Norfolk pine whose branches are not strong enough to support them, but Im figuring Ill find somewhere else to hang them eventually.
