Details

Blue and black with stripes of orange and red, this sculpture from Guatemala assumes the form of a beautiful paradise moth. Inspired by his love for nature, Pedro Apop crafts the creature by hand from ceramic. He adds the motifs with paint that he mixes himself in order to approximate the natural colors of the moth as closely as possible. A hook at the back permits wall display, or the sculpture can pose on a tabletop.

"A beautiful butterfly"

This butterfly is a work of art but also quite realistic. It will brighten the room where I put it.
