Collectible Wood Serving Utensil Kitchen Accessory (Pair), "Guatemalan Fry Up"
"We carved these spatulas from cericote wood, which is a hard wood. They are ideal to use when frying things as they won't scratch pans like the metal ones do, or melt like the plastic ones do," explain the carvers from Peten Wood Artisan Sculptors. Cericote wood is a naturally dark-grained wood with interesting patterns and sometimes shows white parts creating a striking contrast.
Hand wash with soap and water. Never use a dishwasher or expose the wood to heat sources or water, as they could cause it to warp. To renew the shine, polish the wood with vegetable oil and a soft cloth.

"Very useful."

Ive had these Guatemalen Fry Up utensils for a couple of years now and I seem to use them all the time. They come in very handy for things that you may not think about, like getting all the stuff out of cans, browning onions, stirring sauce, cooking eggs, etc. They are beautifully made and unusual. Im very happy that I purchased them.

"Gift of gratitude"

This piece is for our church pianist. Our church is a Spanish language church with many people from Central America and the Caribbean. This gift, from a Latino artist, will mean so much! A personal touch!

"Unique and very useful spoons"

I love this spoon so much that I bought it twice and might buy more in the future. Unlike other wooden spoons, they are big and deep and serve almost as ladles. I completely recommend them. The artisanship is also amazing.
