Buana presents a new ring design with an intriguing combination of materials. Sturdy black leather, woven into a basket-like pattern, serves as the ring's crown. Surrounding the leather are graceful Balinese jawan (granule) and bun (wirework) motifs. The sterling silver ring features a wide, brilliantly polished band.

“Sadly did not love, returned”

A big, bold piece just was not as I hoped. Just seemed to sit so high above my finger, looked odd. And a little narrower than my finger so the band underneath was visible when looking straight down at it. Disappointed as it was a beautiful combination of materials & great craftsmanship. A pendant would ve been awesome.

“Lovely Rainbow Moonstone and Silver Ring”

Beautiful ring, accurate size, detailed craftmanship. The glow is more subtle than I had hoped, but very lovely, like a rainbow in the clouds. As recommended, I did size up because of the wider band. The band makes the ring balanced and extremely comfortable.

Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.

Caring for Children

When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.

Buana provides for the education of his two children.
