Jesus Rivas, working in the tradition of Chulucanas ceramics, handcrafts the vase to feature a slender neck and wide body, decorated with lines and circle motifs in black and ivory tones that evoke modern designs. The black color is achieved by firing the vase with mango tree leaves. The underside of the vase is marked with the artist's name, the name of his hometown, and the phrase Hecho a mano (made by hand).

"So unique"
My order was damaged but customer service went above and beyond to make it right....thank you very much! Even though the vase was broken I was able to see that it is a very unique piece. I am excited to get my replacement and put it on display in my home.
