In hues of pumpkin and olive, natural fiber from the chambira tree is used to hand-weave this beautiful decorative basket from Peru. Working to improve the livelihood of the people of Iquitos, Peru, the artisans of Hope of the Forest create this star-shaped basket, detailed with lovely openwork patterns and petite beads of littleleaf boxwood.

"Perfection!"
Just a stunning piece of work. I will say this is my second purchase from these artisans and they both are perfect and beautiful. Do to the gourd in the center I have decided to hang it. These are so nice would make great gifts. Extremely happy with my purchase.

I will say the this daffodil star is not only beautiful but is made with perfection. I also like that you can hang it up as well. I have a lighter yellow kitchen and I have it hanging in there. Exceptional work. Love it!!
