Seen in silhouette, a skull speaks, its words depicted as glyphs that flow from its mouth. Artisans from the Angel Cerón Artisan Association recreate a motif from the archaeological site of Chichén Itzá in Yucatán. The image was depicted on the walls of the ball court, relating it with death and with the sacred ballgame. Chichén Itzá is a post classic Maya site with marked Toltec influence.
