Representing local ceramic artisans, El Salvador's Keysi Rivera offers this tealight holder from El Salvador. A woman wearing traditional clothing walks with flowers in her arm, carrying a basket balanced atop her head. Inside the basket of this hand-painted ceramic sculpture is a space for holding a tealight. Say the artisans, "This sculpture distinguishes the culture and traditions of our villages. The Volcaneña are indigenous people that live in the San Salvador Volcano and come down to the city with their baskets filled with flowers to sell."
