Details

The ancient Lenca city of Azacualpa serves as inspiration for the design of this necklace by Alessandra Foletti. Honduran women artisans craft each ceramic bead by hand in shades of blue, beige and black, the colors present in most pre-Hispanic frescoes. Featuring silver plated spacers, the necklace is centered by a pewter pendant shaped like the spears used by many Mesoamerican warriors, and it is engraved with several spirals.

The ceramic beads are shaped by hand, therefore their contours may be slightly irregular.
