"I'm Gabriela Gutierrez. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in clothing design. I made clothes for my dolls. This led me to study business administration with a full focus on design. I started my studies in leather apparel and later moved on to accessory design. I learned to appreciate the magic of leather and I was amazed!

"I think what fascinates me the most about my work is seeing how a piece of leather is transformed into something incredible, like a bag, briefcase or wallet. More than anything, I want to continue creating original designs with my own unique identity.

"When starting this beautiful project, it took a lot of effort and dedication. Sometimes, I had to forego family gatherings to meet my goals, and sometimes I didn't have any time for myself. But this was a dream throughout my life and I cherish every moment. It has become a reality — I wouldn't change this experience for anything.

"My greatest inspiration comes from listening to clients' needs and their opinions. They give me more vision and help me improve my quality process every day. From there, new ideas and perspectives emerge. I work hand in hand with two family members who have been by my side at all times.

"I enjoy knowing with certainty that my work provides continuity to the tradition of leather, a tradition that characterizes this part of Mexico. And being a part of that is incredible. I want to share my designs with people from different parts of the world. And show the wonderful things that Mexican hands create."
