Twinkling stars surround the crescent moon in the blue night sky. Together in their tenuous light, a couple makes love in a desert landscape with cactus, stones and desert creatures. Birds pair off before seeking their nest for the night and a curious wolf watches the people with interest. Recalling the story of the original sin, J. Borges adds a red serpent that winds sinuously through their Eden on northeastern Brazil. The artist works in the woodcut technique.
