Bold Red-Orange Silkscreen Print of Mexico's Lake Chapala, "Chapala"

Sunset brings the hues of Mexican fires opals to a cloudless sky over Lake Chapala. The day's work over, small boats rest near the shore beside fishing nets left to dry overnight. Artist Georg Rauch works in the silkscreen technique to create this bold limited edition print depicting Mexico's largest natural lake. After spending most of his life in Mexico, he was known as "the most Mexican of Austrians."
