Details

Depicting a woman carrying a pot of water atop her head, this Ghanaian sculpture is whimsically titled Nea Oko Nsu, an Akan adage that means "the one who goes to fetch water breaks the pot." Ransford Bediako designs this sculpture, which he hand-carves from a single piece of sese wood, which is then given a polished black finish.

"Wonderful Piece!"

This Bediako mask is a great piece! The workmanship is excellent. I loved it as soon as I opened the package and love it even more hanging on my wall. Thank you, Ransford Bediako! I will think of you often when I see your piece in my home.

"Beautiful walking stick"

Beautiful walking stick; however, it needs to be an inch or two taller.
