The Sierra Family of the Guadalajara metro area specializes in working with marble and onyx mined in the Mexican states of Puebla and Oaxaca. This black onyx sculpture depicts a bull, an animal which has been very important culturally in Mexico, admired for its strength and inability to be 100% tamed.
