Putu Oka Mahendra's delightful covered dish has a secret inside. In Bali, such dishes are often used to hold burning mosquito coils, which are placed on the raised portion of the bowl bottom. The smoke drifts through the openings around the top and sides.

It was delivered packaged secure and tried to take a picture but unsuccessful but it was perfect everything. The most touching part was the next day with I lit it with a darker room I noticed the lovely Star/Moon/Sun reflected on the wall behind it. It was fabulous and thank you Putu and your mother for the support.

I purchased this wee turtle set years ago and still love it as much as I did when I first opened the box. They are kept near my sink for tiny treasures and always make me smile.

This bowl is as deep blue and rich as I expected. It looks wonderful on my wood and iron coffee table.
