Two faces emerge from the sides of this spectacular wall mask, testifying to the admirable artistry of Awudu Saaed. He crafts his original design with sese wood, adorning the many faces with colorful recycled glass beads and embossed brass. The Ghanaian artisan names this wall mask Oluebube, meaning "Glorious Work" in the Igbo language.

Not sure how I stumbled upon this mask in the first place but from the moment I saw it, something about it haunted me. Its beautiful. I could NOT stop thinking about it and finally caved, and Im so glad I did. The colors, the beadwork, and the craftsmanship are all incredible. This is my favorite piece of art we own, by far. I cant wait to collect more of Awudu Saaeds work.
