Crafted of wadang wood in the shape of a mango, this decorative tray from Bali features designs by the women of Gunadi's village. They decorate the tray by hand, using a batik resist to apply traditional floral Lok Chan motifs.

"Makes me smile"
I get a little happy every time I see these ornaments. I had originally put them on a Christmas tree--they were the extra special touch among all the traditional stuff. My family thought they were cool and even wanted some. And actually, they are still on display, long after the Christmas decorations were put away.

"A favorite game"
