Batik Tie Dye Cotton Scarf in Caribbean Blue from India, "Caribbean Blue Waves"
Designed by Indian duo Krishna and Sharda, this cotton scarf features abstract and floral motifs in Caribbean blue, coal black, and snow white colors. The artisans apply the designs using a combination of tie dye and batik methods, where a wax resist is applied to the fabric before it is submerged in vats of dye. The elegant look of this piece makes for a wonderful companion wherever it goes.
