Batik Canoe Home Accent in Red from Indonesia, "Lombok Canoe in Red"
Crafted in the traditional Lombok style of Bali, this decorative accent from Indonesia is presented by Sasak Lombok Craft, a group of women artisans working together to improve their economic situations. Featuring a red color with floral motifs, this decorative accent is carved by hand from a strip of coconut flower husk, known as kloping, fitted with bamboo feet and accented with ate grass. The designs present on the canoe are achieved using the batik method, where a wax resist is applied to the piece before it is submerged in vats of dye.

These Batik Napkin Rings are absolutely beautiful. They are not shy. They are huge napkin drum rings that will stand out on your table. They look very strong and sturdy. I am looking forward to using them over and over again.
