Working mother Luh Mas Sri Pertamiari seeks to promote both women and Indonesian artisans. She is from a Balinese village which "...has been renowned as a woodcarving center... the fantastic thing is that almost 90 percent of the women know how to carve," she observes. Small flowers bloom in geometrically precise rows on the top of this hand carved suar wood box finished in rich natural wood tones. Use it as accent piece or to store jewelry or typically wayward items such as keys and cell phones.
