Aztec Goddess of Agave Handmade Ceramic Skull Sculpture, "Aztec Goddess of Agave"

A Dead of the Day ceramic skull sculpture beautifully decorated with the image and motifs associated with Mayáhuel, the Aztec goddess of agave and fertility, is crafted and painted by hand by the artisans from the Angel Cerón Artisan Association in Mexico. They use natural dyes in lovely colors to adorn the skull made with barro amarillo or yellow clay, a traditional pottery material from the state of Oaxaca.
