Authentic Handwoven Black and White Cotton Kente Cloth Shawl, "Ewe Kings"
Woven by hand, this exceptional kente cloth shawl features subtle motifs in marigold orange. The black and white stripes create a bold and beautiful contrast. By the Gobah Tengey-Seddoh family, each strip requires considerable effort, and the looms are worked with both hands and feet. The patterns themselves are carefully chosen symbols, which a master weaver develops and names, often to honor people, historical events or proverbs. This design is named Fiawogorme, which means "after kings" in Ghana's Ewe language.

"Beautiful workmanship"

I received the scarf today and I am so glad. It is a beautiful scarf that I am going to gift with the Kente backpack that I ordered before. I am sure this will be a special gift for the person I am giving it to. It is beautifully done with gold keys and stripes.
