A radiant star appears on the forehead of this beautiful African mask, and embossed aluminum creates rich textures. By Abdul Aziz Mohamadu, the personage is none other than Nsoromma, the star god. The Akan people appease Nsoromma, who they believe can curse them with sickness.

"Beautiful , captivating and colorful."
Ive been a collector of african masks for many years. This mask was irresistible for me as are all of Abduls work. He is exceptional and prolific, one artist that I admire greatly. So proud to have this inspiring mask on my wall. Thank you Abdul for all that you do.

"Medo"
I have bought at least 25 wall masks from Novica and all have been beautiful until today. I received my Medo mask and I am very unhappy. The quality is inferior. In fact I would not waste any more money by shipping it back to the supplier. Ginger Hagberg

Job Creator
Abdul has a dream of establishing an art academy for carving and sharing the African culture that is so closely tied to wood carving. So far, he has trained over 30 people but hopes that number can grow to be in the hundreds with an academy.
