Artisan Crafted Wood Throne Ottoman, "Four Faces"
Nana Frimpong describes this piece as a family throne, the four faces carved on the pedestal symbolizing love and unity. Representing the designs of the Ashanti royalty of Ghana, the carving is hewn from local sese wood and polished to exalt the material's deep, rich tone. Traditional geometric etchings complete this solid vision of West African culture.

"Perfect size for a small space"
This is just the right size to fit neatly in so many places. I reflect on the meaning each day as I leave the door of my bedroom where it reminds me to look honestly at the past and remember its lessons in order to build a better future.
