Empress of Mexico from 1864 to 1867, Doña Carlota was a Belgian princess who brought Parisian flair to her new home in Mexico. Handcrafted by Ana Maria Gonzalez, this decoupage jewelry box depicts vignettes from France. The mini chest features two drawers to keep personal treasures organized.

"Mexico and France Fusion"

"A lovely piece!"
I have a collection of gorgeous, small boxes of many different kinds, materials and finishes. This beauty caught my eye immediately and is a wonderful addition to my collection. It is unique from any of the others and is so lovely on its own. I will put some of my newly acquired Novica pieces of jewelry in it as I have it in a location which is convenient for that use and perfect to keep it safe. This is my first piece from Ana Maria, but I am so pleased that I will be reviewing her collection for other lovely pieces for both myself and my lucky gift recipients! Thanks Ana Maria and Novica!! I highly recommend this and believe you will be as pleased as I am with Ana Marias work!

"As a cat lover, and collector of things Mexican, I truely love this item"
This little treasure is good for keeping my jewelry, but it is also an asset to my Mexican room, my second bedroom. I love the way the cats are depicted and worked into the art. I will enjoy keeping my jewelry in this beautiful piece which all can admire.
