“A True Piece of Art”

Everything about this robe (Misty Javanese Forest) is exquisite: the colour is stunning and more intense than in the picture (did not fade a bit in a wash), the design gorgeous, the workmanship impeccable, the fabric very pleasant on the skin and the fit perfect, even for a tall woman like myself. I was so thrilled with this housecoat that I immediately ordered another one from the same artist. Parwati (I believe this is your first name rather than Desak), I found that Parvati in Sanskrit means of the mountains and is a goddess of love and power - I am honoured to be wearing your beautiful creation, which exudes these characteristics of your name. And NOVICA, the beautiful packaging together with the handwritten note with a few phrases in Balinese was very touching - like a present from a friend. This was my first purchase from NOVICA and it exceeded my highest expectations. Spreading happiness around the world indeed!

“My go to robe all year round”

The material is wonderfully soft and comfortable, keeping me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It looks great on and I am comfortable wearing it when I answer the door or someone stops by. Easy to wash on delicate, wrap in a big towel and dry by squeezing out excess water then hang up to finish.

“Perfect robe”

Having spent hours searching for a house-coat or-robe I could wear at home and when travelling, I came upon this robe, which, now that its arrived, I have fallen in with love. Its beautifully made, its colours are exactly as portrayed in the photo here, and it is even more substantial than I had anticipated. I can tell Ill get years of wear from it, and am thrilled with Parwatis work.

“Perfect Sundress”

From her, she learned not only the art of batik and textile design but also how to care for her workers.
