This silk scarf is designed and handmade in Armenia, by sisters Anna and Azatuhi Stepanyan. The scarf is hand painted in the technique of cold batik. The motifs include pomegranates, considered a symbol of fertility and good fortune in Armenia, as well as a guard against the Evil Eye. The multicolored scarf is framed with traditional Armenian motifs.
