About this Item

Crafted of sterling silver, the face of a balam, or jaguar, is depicted in a pre-Hispanic style. Nicte Migliozzi of Guatemala handcrafts this dramatic pendant bracelet, circling the wrist with a band of black leather.

The jaguar is a precise replica of those in a necklace found in Guatemala's Iximché archaeological site. The original dates from 900 to 1524 A.D.
