Follow the path of destiny with this original and beautiful shawl from Mexico. Created by Petrona Perez and Asociación de Artesanas, this shawl is woven by hand on a traditional telar de cintura (backstrap loom,) the yarns carefully incorporated to create alternating patterns of aqua and stone. Colorful diamond patterns and dangling fringes decorate the shawl at each end.

“work of art”

I purchased this to gift my neice this comming Christmas. This is beyond what I imagined it to be. The craftmanship, creativity, material, vibrant colors and design make this a true work of art. I am really thinking about ordering several more to gift this holiday season. Kudos to the artist.
