Details

Hand-carved from sese wood, this impressive walking stick is created by Ghanaian artisan Ernestina Oppong Asante. She draws inspiration from the fauna of Africa as she carves the portraits of a giraffe, a zebra, and an elephant, one on top of the other. The elephant's trunk forms the bottom portion of the walking stick.
