Inspired by themes of nurturing, Ghanaian artisan Ericson Nana Pare creates this mask, which he hand-carves from a single piece of sese wood. This mask's cheeks and forehead are accented in piece of intricately embossed aluminum; the forehead features two iterations of the Adinkra symbol Akokonan, which signifies nurture. A rustic finish completes this stunning mask.
