This marvelous heart-shaped mask is the creation of Ghanaian artisan Saeed Musah. He carves the mask by hand from sese wood, adding inlaid brass accents and recycled glass beads. He names the design Kande, a Hausa word meaning "only females among males".

“Beautiful multi-media mask”
