Framed by embossed aluminum, a red design forms the "third eye" of this African mask from Ghana. Abdul Aziz Mohamadu designs this mask, which is hand-carved from a single piece of sese wood and painted orange. Embossed aluminum further accentuates the cheeks of this mask, which is named Esbuna, meaning "be happy" in the Igbo language of Nigeria.

This mask has been hanging on the wall in our living room for the past couple of years. It has a great finish and gives a warm, welcoming and interesting feel to the room. Very happy with it.
