Inspired by African royalty, Ghana's Rapheal L. Commey designs this striking mask. This round mask is hand-carved from a single piece of sese wood, featuring squinted eyes that are framed by a rustic beige body with black triangle patterns around the exterior. An eye of embossed brass decorates the forehead of this mask, which is named Ohemaa, meaning "queen" in the Akan language.
